Life expectancy of Light Source

| LED Life expectancy is expected to reach 100,000 hours by LED manufacturer, which is an ideal value. However, as all basic light sources, LED luminous flux also decay with time, so although the LED light-emitting can be a very long time, MTBF is not the only consideration in determining the life. LED lumen attenuation as well as the life of LED are influenced by many environmental conditions, such as environmental temperature, humidity and ventilation. Lumen attenuation has also been influenced by control, thermal management, current level and many other electrical design. |
